Barbara E. Rice, age 77, of Derby, died Monday, April 4, 2016, in Madison Health Hospital.
She was born July 20, 1938, in Columbus, daughter of the late Dwight and Myrtle Spangler.
She was preceded in death by husband, George H. Rice (April 2013).
She is survived by her loving daughter, Jacqueline Rice of Harrisburg; sister, Jean (Jim) Conway of Harrisburg; nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, April 8, 2016, at the Porter-Tidd Funeral Home, Mt. Sterling. Rev. Laura Clark of the Derby United Methodist Church will officiate, with the interment following in Pleasant Cemetery. Family will receive friends one hour prior to time of service.
