Mary Della (Jones) Hugus, 83, of Lancaster, passed away on March 25, 2016.
She was born Nov. 14, 1932, in Marietta, to Wilbur and Mildred (Folger) Jones.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Mary was a graduate of Marietta College, was a member of the Eastern Star, Daughters of the American Revolution, Brookside Garden Club, All Saints Lutheran Church Choir and Chi Omega Sorority.
She is survived by her husband, Maurice “Welty” Hugus; sons, Philip L. Hugus of Arizona and Daniel Hugus of Circleville; daughter, Amy Woeste of Illinois; grandchildren, Tyler, Katherine, Joseph, Reed, Erin, Michael and Tessa; and by one brother, Wilbur Jones of Marietta.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 2, 2016, at the St. Philip’s Episcopal Church with Kathryn Clausen officiating. Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the church. Private burial will be in Harrison Township Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to FairHope Hospice or St. Philip’s Episcopal Church.
