William E. Silcott, age 67, of Orient, passed away March 16, 2016, at Mt. Carmel West, Columbus.
He was born July 24, 1948, in Chillicothe.
Bill was a donor to Lifeline of Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Norma Jean Vincent; grandparents, Richard and Mary Silcott; and sister, Melanie Hertenstein.
He is survived by his loving family: wife, Sharon Silcott; daughters, Stacey (Kermit) Tackett and Kim (Justin) Harwood; grandchildren, Kayla (Weasel) Tackett, Sami (Sambucket) Tackett, Michael (Buddha) Harwood and Jacob (J Willie) Harwood; brother, Terry; sister, Diane; and good friend, Ron Hatcher.
A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 22, 2016, at the Porter-Tidd Funeral Home, Mt. Sterling, with Pastor Russell Harless officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to time of service.
In lieu of flowers, family suggest memorial contributions to the Diabetic Foundation.
