Phillip T. “Terry” Riley, 59, of Circleville, passed away Monday, March 14, 2016, at Genesis Healthcare in Circleville.
He was born on July 22, 1956, in Medina, the son of Edward J. and Dolores (Scherer) Riley.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his grandparents, Edward and Mary Riley and Phillip and Sophia Scherer; and nephew, Jack David Hensley Jr.
Terry was the nicest guy you ever met who was well-liked by everyone. He was an outgoing person who enjoyed hunting, fishing, NASCAR and was a huge fan of Notre Dame and the OSU Buckeyes football.
Terry is survived by his son, Joe (Janaca) Darfus; daughter, Nora Kline; grandchildren, Joe and Kylie Darfus and Mariah and Blaze Arledge; sister, Kathy (Jack) Hensley; brothers, Ed (Denise) Riley Jr. and Mike (Amy) Riley; several nieces and nephews; and many, many friends.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 19, 2016, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 134 W. Mound St., Circleville, with Fr. Theodore Machnik, celebrant. Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Circleville. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Defenbaugh-Wise-Schoedinger Funeral Home with Rosary Service at 7 p.m. Friday.
