Staff Reports

March 10:

– Deputies responded to reports of an unruly child in the 8700 block of U.S. Route 22 East. No charges were filed.

– A resident in the 2200 block of Walnut Creek Pike reported money was taken from her purse. A report was taken on theft.

– Deputies responded to a complaint on a person in the 16000 block of Lockbourne Eastern Road, Ashville.

– Deputies responded to a possibly attempted burglary in the 13000 block of U.S. Route 62, Mt. Sterling.

– Deputies responded to a complaint on property in the 100 block of Gale Court, Circleville.

– Deputies responded to an alarm activation in the 15000 block of state Route 104, Ashville.

– Deputies responded to a request for a free air search by a deputy and the canine unit, Marko, in the 10000 block of state Route 104, Lockbourne.

– Deputies responded to reports of a suspicious vehicle in the 9000 block of London Road, Orient.

– Deputies responded to reports of an abandoned vehicle on Bulen Pierce Road, Lockbourne.

– Elijah Shoemaker, 30, of Ashville, was cited for failure to control when his vehicle went off the roadway on Goodman Road and rolled over. No injuries were reported.

– Tyler Williams, 32, of Circleville, advised he was traveling northbound on Kingston Pike with a child’s playhouse in the back of his truck when the wind blew the item off the truck, striking a vehicle driven by Roby Phillip, 51, of Pickerington. No injuries were reported.

– Caleb Cumberland, 27, of Tarlton, was cited for failure to maintain when his vehicle went off the roadway on Moccasin Road into a creek. The subject was treated for injuries.

– Clarissa Horn-McCain, 27, of Circleville, was cited for assured clear distance ahead when her vehicle struck a vehicle on South Court Street driven by Peggy Grunden, 56, of Circleville. No injuries were reported.

– A 16-year-old from Ashville was pulling out of a parking space on state Route 752 and struck a parked vehicle owned by Lucinda Kuhlwein of Ashville.

– Jessica L. Foracker was arrested for failure to appear on the original charge of theft.

March 11:

– A resident in the 1800 block of Shawnee Trail reported a gun was taken from his garage. A report was taken on burglary.

– A resident in the 7800 block of Imler Road, Orient, reported a check was stolen and forged. A report was taken on theft.

– A resident in the 7800 block of South Bloomfield Royalton Road reported an unknown person used her information to file income taxes. A report was taken on identity theft.

– A resident in the 8200 block of Hayesville Road, Kingston, reported threats.

– A resident in the 7400 block of state Route 56 East reported her medication was stolen. A report was taken on theft.

– A resident in the 10900 block of Borror Road, Orient, reported jewelry and medication had been taken from her residence. A report was taken on burglary.

– Four juveniles were discovered when deputies responded to reports of a suspicious vehicle at Canal Road Park. They were released to their parents and will be charged with possession of marijuana.

– A resident in the 20700 block of Five Points Pike reported harassment. No charges were filed.

– Anthony Worthington, 48, of Grove City, was arrested for OVI and improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle following a traffic stop on state Route 316 at Route 104.

– Deputies responded to a complaint on a person in the 10000 block of state Route 104, Lockbourne.

– Deputies responded to a vehicle fire in the 8000 block of Hayesville Road, Circleville.

– Deputies responded to a complaint on a person in the 1000 block of Northridge Road, Circleville.

– Deputies responded to a complaint on a person in the 26000 block of Locust Grove Road, New Holland.

– Deputies responded to a complaint on a person in the 100 block of Watt Street, Circleville.

– Deputies responded to suspicious activity in the 24000 block of Huber Hitler Road, Circleville.

– Jessie Strawser, 20, of Circleville, was cited for assured clear distance ahead when she struck a vehicle on Walnut Creek Pike driven by Charles Queen IV, 26, of Ashville.

– Dexter R. Carothers was arrested for failure to appear on the original charge of driving under suspension.

March 12:

– A resident in the 1800 bock of Shawnee Trail reported a vehicle had been stolen from her driveway. The vehicle was later located by the Fairfield County Sheriff’s Office and towed back to the Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office.

– A resident in the 1100 block of Dunkle Road reported a vehicle was taken from his driveway. A report was taken on a stolen vehicle.

– A resident in the 1500 block of North Court Street reported he hired a subject to do work for him, but the subject never returned to do the work even though he had already been paid.

– Deputies responded to an emergency squad run in the 2000 block of Kingston Pike, Circleville.

– Deputies responded to a complaint on a person on Long Street in Ashville.

– Deputies responded to an animal call on Circle Avenue, New Holland.

– Deputies responded to an emergency squad run in the 9000 block of Water Street, Darbyville.

– Deputies responded to a disabled vehicle on Airbase Road, Ashville.

– Deputies responded to a domestic dispute in the 600 block of Island Road, Circleville.

– Deputies responded to an emergency squad run in the 5000 block of Fairfield Road, Orient.

– Deputies responded to a complaint on a person in the 2000 block of Egypt Pike, Chillicothe.

– Lisa Miller, 53, of Adelphi, was cited for failure to yield on Circleville Plaza Drive when she pulled into an intersection and struck a vehicle driven by Brittany Chowning, 21, of Circleville.

– Natasha M. Brookover was arrested on a violation of probation for the original charge of theft.

– Tamara L. Kneece was arrested for failure to appear for the original charge of driving under suspension.

March 13:

– A resident in the 17600 block of Ringgold Northern Road reported a known subject took a cell phone wrist watch from the caller’s daughter. A report was taken on theft.

– A resident in the 4300 block of state Route 138 reported her debit card was used to make a purchase online.

– A resident in the 26200 block of Locust Grove Road, New Holland reported he let a known subject use cell phones and a tablet, and she now would not give them back. A report was taken on unauthorized use of property.

– A resident in the 12100 block of Bulen Pierce Road reported a TV was taken from his residence. A report was taken on burglary.

– Deputies responded to a complaint on a vehicle on Henderson Lane, Ashville.

– Deputies responded to a complaint on a person in the 14000 block of state Route 104, Ashville.

– George Smith, 22, of Laurelville, was traveling southbound on Tarlton-Adelphi Road when he lost control of his vehicle, going off the roadway and striking a mailbox, then coming to rest in a large creek. He was treated for injuries.

March 14:

– Deputies responded to reports of harassment in the 9000 block of Winchester Southern Road, Stoutsville.

– Deputies responded to reports of found property in the 200 block of Tarlton Road, Circleville. The property was placed in the evidence room.

– Deputies responded to an animal call in the 12000 block of Lockbourne Eastern Road, Ashville.

– Charles England, 33, of Commercial Point, was cited for failure to control when he backed his vehicle out of a driveway on Mantle Road and ran into a field. No injuries were reported.

– Terry Reed, 70, of Ashville, was cited for OVI when he advised he had fallen asleep and ran off the roadway on state Route 316. No injuries were reported.

– Charles H. Russell Jr. was arrested on a violation of probation for the original charge of criminal mischief.

– Christopher Jessop was arrested on an indictment for theft.

– Samantha S. Salyers was arrested on a violation of probation for the original charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.

March 15:

– Deputies responded to reports of harassment in the 24000 block of Morris Leist Road, Stoutsville.

– Kyle Huffer was arrested for failure to appear and a violation of probation for the original charge of failure to reinstate.
