Alan Ray Williams, 56, of Ashville, passed away at home on Thursday, Feb. 25, 2016.
He was born July 19, 1959, in Ashland, Kentucky, to the late Earnest Ray and Mary Lou (Fairchild) Williams.
Alan had worked for ALD Concrete, Buckeye Steel Castings and Brechbuhler Scales in Columbus.
He was a graduate of Teays Valley High School, Class of 1977.
He is survived by his life partner, Evelyn Dinsmoor; son, A.J. Williams (Naimah Hill) of Pickerington; step-sons, Dana Tackett of Columbus and James (Cassandra) Tackett of Ashville; brother, Steve (Christine) Williams of Circleville; sister, Cindy Williams (Gregg Cline) of Ashville; grandchildren, Paige, Dana, Jordynn, Jerzee and a new one on the way; nieces, Amanda Williams, Kimberly (Jonathan) Wallace and Tara Williams; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins, as well as many friends.
Visitation will be 3 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 27, 2016, at the Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W. Main St. Ashville. Cremation will follow.
