Residents named to University of Dayton dean’s list

Molly Dickson of Circleville and Wallace Huggett of Ashville recently were named to the University of Dayton fall 2015 dean’s list. The list honors students achieving a minimum 3.5 GPA.


Four named to Capital University dean’s list

Four local students recently were named to the Capital University dean’s list for the fall 2015 semester. The honorees are Lyndsie Cornwell of Orient; Cory Heeter of Circleville; Taylor Humphrey of Ashville; and Gabrielle Power of Orient.


Three earn dean’s list honors at Youngstown State University

Three Circleville residents recently earned dean’s list honors for fall semester 2015 at Youngstown State University. To be eligible for the dean’s list, students must carry a semester grade point average of 3.4 or better and take a minimum of 12 semester hours of credit.

These students are Laine Bulmer of Circleville, majoring in early childhood education; Corie Hoselton of Circleville, majoring in middle childhood language arts; and Amanda Williams of Circleville, majoring in pre-law.


Bulmer named to YSU president’s list

Laine Bulmer of Circleville recently was namned to the president’s list at Youngstown State University for the fall 2015 semester. Bulmer is majoring in early childhood education.

To be eligible for the president’s list, a student must carry a semester grade point average of 4.0 and take a minimum of 12 semester hours of credit.


Three named to Heidelberg dean’s list

Three local students recently earned dean’s list honors at Heidelberg University for the fall 2015 semester.

These students are Dorothy Faris, a senior education major from Circleville; Colin Graves, a senior sport management and business administration major from Ashville; and Travis Hedge, a junior computer science major from Ashville.


Local resident named to dean’s list at Marietta College

Alex Bower of Circleville recently was named to the fall 2015 semester dean’s list at Marietta College. Any full-time student completing at least 15 credit hours with a grade point average between 3.5 and 3.74 in a given semester is recognized as a dean’s list student for that semester.

Bower is majoring in sports management and is scheduled to graduate in May of 2019. Bower is a graduate of Logan Elm High School.


Wood graduates from Ashland University

Hannah Wood of Circleville received a master of education degree with a major in curriculum and instruction: ISMM during Ashland University’s commencement ceremonies held Dec. 19, 2015.
