Staff Reports

The following cases recently were heard by Judge P. Randall Knece in Pickaway County Common Pleas Court:

– John W. Blanton, 45, of Ashville Pike, Lockbourne, pleaded guilty to non-support of dependents. He was sentenced to 12 months in state prison (suspended), five years of community control and 30 days in the county jail.

– Joseph M. Brown, 29, of Hedgesview Drive, Ashville, pleaded not guilty to theft and burglary. A pretrial hearing is set for Feb. 12.

– Jason T. Calder, 23, of Kingston Court, Circleville, pleaded not guilty to aggravated robbery and theft. A pretrial hearing is set for Feb. 12.

Eric A. Coder, 27, of Long Run Road, Laurelville, pleaded guilty to illegal manufacture of drugs, aggravated possession of drugs and aggravated trafficking of drugs. He was sentenced to three years of intervention.

– Patricia Haney, 42, of Town Street, Circleville, pleaded guilty to grand theft, theft and Medicaid eligibility fraud. She was sentenced to five years of intervention.

– Devon L. Macioci, 18, of Pinckney Street, Circleville, pleaded not guilty to aggravated robbery and theft. A pretrial hearing is set for Feb. 12.

– James L. Morrison, 30, of Washington Court House, pleaded guilty to non-support of dependents. He will be sentenced following a pre-sentence investigation by the court.

– Kathy A. Shull, 45, of East Mound Street, Circleville, pleaded guilty to a violation of community control. She was sentenced to 30 days in the county jail.

– Keagan M. Sidders, 18, of Columbus, pleaded not guilty to aggravated burglary and assault. A pretrial hearing is set for Feb. 12.

– Laurie L. Smith, 39, of Pontious Lane, Circleville, pleaded guilty to a violation of terms of intervention. She was sentenced to 30 days in the county jail.

– Benjamin C. Teasley, 40, of Columbus, pleaded not guilty to rape and gross sexual imposition. A pretrial hearing is set for Feb. 12.

Ashley K. Duboe, 24, of Lancaster, pleaded guilty to complicity to robbery. She was sentenced to two years in state prison and $6,430 in restitution.

– Billy J. Greeno, 52, of Miller Avenue, Ashville, pleaded guilty to domestic violence. He was sentenced to 18 months in state prison (suspended) and three years of community control.

– E. Rena Jones, 55, of East Franklin Street, Circleville, pleaded guilty to theft from the elderly. Jones will be sentenced following a pre-sentence investigation by the court.

– Marty T. Karshner, 42, of Portsmouth, pleaded guilty to attempted possession of illegal chemicals and attempted possession of drugs. He will be sentenced following a pre-sentence investigation by the court.

– Terra N. Smith, 39, of Middlefork Road, Laurelville, pleaded guilty to a violation of terms of intervention. She was sentenced to 30 days in the county jail and a continuation of intervention.
