The following cases recently were heard by Judge P. Randall Knece in Pickaway County Common Pleas Court:

– Jeremy Bass, 43, of Columbus, pleaded guilty to a violation of community control. He was sentenced to nine months in state prison at Orient.

– Brittany N. Bensonhaver, 26, of Spruce Ridge Drive, South Bloomfield, pleaded guilty to theft and breaking and entering. She will be sentenced following a pre-sentence investigation by the court.

– Richard A. Bowens, 25, of Louisa, Kentucky, pleaded guilty to failure to comply with a police officer, assault on a peace officer and possession of heroin. He was sentenced to two years in state prison at Orient and a five year driver’s license suspension.

– Burl L. Brewer, 41, of Randolph Street, Ashville, pleaded guilty to abusing a harmful intoxicant. He was sentenced to eight months in state prison at Orient and a six month driver’s license suspension.

– Heather S. Danner, 23, of Walnut Street, Circleville, pleaded guilty to trafficking in cocaine and trafficking in heroin. She was sentenced to three years of intervention.

– Octavia A. Dunkle, 19, of Columbus, pleaded guilty to theft and trespassing in a habitation. She will be sentenced following a pre-sentence investigation by the court.

– Scott A. Gannon, 36, of Darby Road, Circleville, pleaded not guilty to theft. A pretrial hearing is set for April 17.

– Gabriel Grossholz, 30, of Columbus, pleaded guilty to a violation of terms of intervention. He was ordered to completed a community based correctional facility program.

– Grant L. Harris Jr., 39, of Peebles, pleaded guilty to three counts of non-support of dependents. He was sentenced to nine months in state prison (suspended) and must serve three years of community control.

– Michael W. Hartzell, 22, of Davis Road, Mt. Sterling, pleaded not guilty to theft and misuse of credit cards. A pretrial hearing is set for April 17.

– Andrew J. Moats, 34, of Columbus Street, Harrisburg, pleaded guilty to a violation of terms of intervention. He was ordered to complete a community based correctional facility program.

– James L. Osborn, 62, of South Court Street, Circleville, pleaded guilty to possession of heroin. He was sentenced to nine months in state prison (suspended) and must serve 30 days in the county jail and three years of community control.

– Marsha A. Weaver, 56, of Chillicothe, pleaded not guilty to possession of heroin and aggravated possession of drugs. A pretrial hearing is set for April 17.
