Thomas Bruce Stevenson, 52, son of Bruce and Betty Stevenson, born on Aug. 7, 1963, went peacefully to be with the Lord on Nov. 1, 2015.
Tom was welcomed into Heaven by his brother, Rob, and sister, Janet. Also there to welcome him home were his grandparents, George Bruce and Carolyn Stevenson, as well as Thomas and Etta McCray.
Tom has many nieces, nephews and friends whom he dearly loved and that will miss him.
Tom was an outdoorsmen who found his love on the banks of Nevels Pond, where he would spend his time fishing. Although it won’t be Nevels Pond, rest assured that Tom is on the banks of a peaceful fishing hole.
The family would appreciate donations be made to Wellman Funeral Home, which will also be the gathering place of friends and family from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 9, 2015.
