US – Playstation announced today that they will cancel an event to show off its new Playstation 5 due to protests.
In a online tweet the company said, “We have decided to postpone the playstation 5 event scheduled for June 4.
While we understand gamer worldwide are evicted to see PS5 games, we do not feel that right now is a time for celebration and for now, we want to stand back and allow more important voices to be heard.”
This morning the company denounced systematic racism and violence against the black community in the statement below.
No timeline was given for the release of information about the next level of gaming PS5
