Piketon Raid Nets Methamphetamine, Arrest Made

Circleville, Ohio – February 8, 2024 – In a joint operation today, the Southern Ohio Organized and Major Crimes Task Force, Portsmouth Police SWAT, Pike County Sheriff’s Office, and the Pike County Prosecutor’s Office executed a search warrant at a residence located at 909 Waldron Hill Road in Piketon, Ohio.

During the search, task force agents discovered a significant amount of suspected methamphetamine packaged for distribution, along with cash, digital scales, prescription pills, and a firearm.

Based on the findings, 50-year-old Tilden Thompson, a resident of the property, was arrested and charged with having weapons under disability, a Felony of the Third Degree.

The Pike County Prosecutor’s Office will present the case to a future grand jury for consideration of additional charges.
