
PIKE COUNTY, Ohio — A barn on Nipgen Road was destroyed by fire after crews arrived to find the structure fully engulfed in flames.
According to early reports, firefighters responded to the scene yesterday afternoon and quickly called for mutual aid as the fire intensified. Departments assisting included Pebble Township, along with units from the 900 and 1600 blocks of Ross County, the 700 block of Pike County, and Benton Township.

Despite efforts from multiple agencies, the barn was declared a total loss. Officials have not released information regarding any injuries, including whether any animals were inside the structure at the time of the fire. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
