Circleville, OH – Two people were injured in a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of South Court Street and Mound Street in Circleville on November 26, 2024. According to Circleville Police, the collision occurred at approximately 3:15 p.m. when an 81-year-old woman, Betty Evans, was driving a 2016 Chrysler Town and Country southbound on South Court Street.
Evans collided with a 2016 Nissan Quest, driven by 36-year-old Whitney Speakman, who was traveling eastbound on Mound Street.
Both drivers were transported to Berger Hospital for medical treatment. Evans sustained serious injuries, while Speakman suffered minor injuries.
The crash caused significant traffic disruption as the intersection was temporarily shut down while emergency responders cleared the scene. Authorities are continuing to investigate the cause of the accident.
