Superload 10 was almost at the end of its day as it was turned onto SR 104 north of Chillicothe on May 16th, 2024.

PICKAWAY – On May 16, 2024, the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) issued a traffic advisory regarding the transportation of a “super load” through the state’s highways. This marks the tenth out of nearly twenty-two such loads making their journey from a dock along the Ohio River near Manchester in Adams County to New Albany in Licking County. The particular load in transit is a tank associated with the new Intel plant situated in Licking County, measuring 19’2” tall, 16’3” wide, 197’ long, and weighing 436,410 pounds.

Route Details for May 17, 2024

The convoy is scheduled to commence its journey at 9:00 a.m. from Fairgrounds Road and SR 104 north of Chillicothe. From there, it will proceed north on SR 104 to SR 762 near Commercial Point before turning east onto State Route 762 towards Rickenbacker Parkway. The overnight stop is planned at Rickenbacker.
