Pickaway County Parkinson’s Walk for a Cure 2022 will Occur on April 30th


PICKAWAY – Pickaways Annual Parkinsons Walk for the Cure will have its events on April 30, 2022.

The walk-in this 11th season raises increase awareness and provides ongoing support for those persons and caregivers in our community who are experiencing the real-life challenges of Parkinson’s disease (PD) and national funding to find a cure.

Did you know that April is Parkinson’s Awareness Month! Our virtual and in-person events will be on April 30, 2022. The in-person event will be at Mary Virginia Crites Hannan Park, 1230 Pontius Rd, Circleville, OH 43113 with on-site registration beginning at 3:00 pm. A minimal registration fee of $25 that includes PWFAC 2022 t-shirt.

“This year, we are pleased to have a “Delay the Disease™” warmup for everyone. Delay the DiseaseTM is a national model of exercise for those living with Parkinson’s disease. We invite everyone to experience this exciting and innovative program that will empower them to integrate this critical component of wellness into their lifestyle.”
