PHOTO DUMP: Large Hail, High Winds Cause Property Damage in Pickaway and Fayette County

PICKAWAY – Strong Thunderstorms across central Ohio brought large hail and strong winds that cause structural damage to areas of North West Pickaway County, and parts of Fayette County.

PICKAWAY: Plazier rd. tree through roof.

Golf-ball-sized hail was reported in the Carroll area around 4 pm and brought winds across Pickaway County and Fairfield at reported speeds by the national weather service of 70 mph.

Ringgold Northern damage. Gazebo ripped from home. Roof damage and many trees down.

Strong winds ripped apart structures and tossed structures across farm fields in the North West part of Pickaway county in the area of 752.

Northwest Pickaway county near 104 and commercial point road

Florence Chapel Pike between 104 and Anderson Road.


Fayette county: severe weather caused havoc in the area of Jefferson outlet area earlier today also, causing a Semi to roll over on I-71 Blocking traffic for hours

Ringgold Northern Rd between SR 752 and South Bloomfield Royalton Rd and Plazier Rd between SR 752 and South Bloomfield Royalton Rd.

This damage was found in the 674 and Marcy road/Ashville Fairfield road area. Reports of roof damage and missing shingles also.
Golfball sized hail was reported in Fairfield County in Lancaster
