Perry County – Marijuana Eradication Effort Yields 75 Plants

PERRY – On September 20, 2022, The Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation, Butler County Sheriff’s Office, and the Perry County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Unit conducted a Perry County wide marijuana eradication effort.

As a result of the effort seventy-five (75) marijuana plants were recovered by the assisting agencies. It is estimated one (1) seized marijuana plant has a street value of $1500 dollars. As a result of the seizure authorities recovered $112,500 dollars’ worth of marijuana. The operation Is entirely funded by federal drug seizures.
