KANNAPOLIS – A U.S. Marine is celebrating her 107 birthday and is officially the oldest living U.S. Marine in United States.

Sgt. Dot Cole joined the Marines in 1943 during World War II according to the City of Kannapolis North Carolina.
She completed her training at Camp Lejeune and was then stationed at Quantico primarily in an administrative role.
