Ohio State Highway Patrol Arrest Man on Nine Counts After Traffic Stop

DARBY – Circleville’s Division of the Ohio State Highway Patrol made a significant bust on August 30th also.

Highway Patrol reported that during a traffic stop for a moving violation on US 62 in the township of Darby, they arrested a man for a total of nine counts. Through investigation of the traffic stop police learned that Larry C. Taylor was operating without a license because and had attached stolen plates to his motor vehicle. Upon further investigation police determined that Mr. Taylor was under the influence and was arrested for that. Durning an administrative inventory of Mr. Taylor’s vehicle a suspected crack cocaine rock was located in the vehicle.  The suspected crack cocaine was seized and sent to the OSHP crime lab for analysis. Mr. Taylor was booked in the Pickaway County jail for Receiving Stolen Property, Possession of Drugs ,OVI, Operating a motor vehicle without a valid license, driving under FRA suspension, No seat belt, driving in marked lanes, fictions plates, and display of license plates.
