Mt Sterling – Madison Plains school was evacuated after a threat of violence was found in the school.

Dear Madison-Plains Local School District
Parents and Guardians,
As you know, a threatening statement was found
on a restroom wall at the 7-12 building this
morning. It is a generalized statement. Students
and staff at the 7-12 building were placed on
busses by the football stadium so that they were
out of the cold. Deputies are on scene.
The building has been searched and nothing
suspicious has been found. The building has
been cleared by law enforcement. Students at
the 7-12 building will be heading back to the
building and resuming learning activities again.
Thank you.
Chad Eisler, Superintendent
Madison-Plains Local School District
