CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — An Apple Series 3 watch was successfully returned to its rightful owner after being found by a local resident in the area of Paint and Water Streets.
On November 25, 2024, Jacob Roe turned in the watch to the Chillicothe Police Department after discovering it in the vicinity. The department posted a photo of the watch’s screen saver on a local social media page in an effort to identify the owner.
The Owner saw the post and recognized the screen saver photo, which featured a picture of her and her boyfriend. The owner confirmed the watch was hers and contacted the police department. She has arranged to pick up the watch.
The Chillicothe Police Department thanked the community for their help in reuniting the lost item with its owner. Shout out to Jacob for doing the right thing.
