CIRCLEVILLE – Circleville Probation department recovered a large lot of drugs during a visit today with help from the Pickaway Sheriff department.
According to the department on Tuesday, December 28, 2021, The Circleville Municipal Court Probation Department and the Pickaway County Intensive Supervision Probation Department conducted a home visit on Probationer Sharon O’Bryan. At that time, Probation Officer’s made contact with another individual, Anthony Giffin, who is currently on probation.
A search of the room was conducted. While conducting the search, a crystal-like rock, larger than a golf ball size (22 Grams) was located under the bed. The Officer’s stopped searching and contacted The Pickaway County Sheriff’s Department. Sergeant Harger, Deputy Cooper, and K-9 Deputy Morningstar arrived on the scene to assist. The crystal-like substance was tested by Sergeant Harger and tested positive for Methamphetamine.
Also, during the search, Probation Officers found a shotgun, digital scales, several glass pipes, syringes, and other illegal narcotics.
Anthony Giffin was arrested on a Probation Violation.
