Commercial Point will celebrate its annual tree lighting and parade on December 2 between the hours of 4 pm and 6 pm. According to the event, they will start the parade at TVWMS at 4 pm, followed by pictures with Santa and Mrs. Claus from 5-6 pm. Tree lighting will begin at or around 6 pm.

You can visit Mr. and Mrs. Claus and at 6 pm we will light up the downtown area! They will have cookies, hot chocolate, water, and a craft for every child. Along with the rest of the events a DJ playing some great Christmas tunes for as well.

Donating to our event. Pick’em Up Joe Coffee Co. , Matthew Snezik-Culligan , Pickaway County Visitors Bureau and to Downbeat Entertainment by Ralph Holdren III.

Dont forget that Santa’s Mailbox has arrived! It is located downtown at 9 Belshazzar Street. Santa will be accepting letters until December 16th. Please please remember to include a return address so we can make sure your child receives their letter. If mom or dad want to include a special note for Santa they can add that to the letter as well, such as his/her elf’s name. Paula writes each letter and makes it special for each child and she does this on her own time so we appreciate her so much! Also, the Village will once again have a hat and mitten tree and will be accepting these until December 18th. These are shared with our schools here in Commercial Point and any left over are sent to the homeless community.
