Fayette County – Washington Court House will host the Scarecrow Festival starting the fall season events.

The event was canceled last year but the committee said that they had plans to make a bigger and better event in 2022.

Opening Ceremonies start at Noon on Friday, September 16, 2022, along with rides, vendors, and amusements. Throughout the day several musical acts will perform including Bluegrass Ramblers, Sourblood, and finishing Main state Confederate Railroad at 8 pm. Free kid events will occur throughout the day.

Saturday gears up with a 5k/10k, a car show balloon artist, and an illusionist by the local headstart. The main stage will have AR6, Branson Moody, Cream Camino, and Hinder.

The final day will be Sunday with a worship service, and a fun meet and greet with a touch a truck event from local fire and ems. The closing ceremony will be performed by Washington Court House High School Marhcing Band.

Admission is free to attend, bring some cash for rides, food, and vendors, but regardless of the day you attend there will be free events for kids and adults.
