FAIRFEILD – On February 1, 2021 Ohio state Highway patrol was called to investigate a road rage incident that was occurring within the county.
According to Fairfield county Sheriffs office a 911 call came in during the road rage incident on US Route 33 where the victim said that after a cut off incident the two vehicles were engaged in confrontation that ended in one man giving a hand gesture, and the other man brandishing a gun at that driver.
The victim who had called 911 was able to give a license plate number, and law enforcement used that info to locate the vehicle at a residence on State Route 180. After interviewing the man he admitted to brandishing the firearm at the man after he was “flipped off.”
Police seized the firearm and forwarded the case to Fairfield county sheriffs office for a full investigation with charges likely.
