Fairfield County – A local gas station was shut down for a few hours after a sexual assalt was reported this week.
According to sources earlier this week a woman that is under drinking age was found in the parking lot, almost incoherent. After she came to, it was reported that she was given alcohol at the bar that was possibly laced and claimed she was sexually assaulted inside. She was taken to the hospital where testing occurred.
Today around 3 pm several unmarked investigators cars, along with Fairfield County sheriff department vehicles surrounded the gas station/bar and did a search warrant for evidence. During the search crime scene tape was erected and no one was allowed in or out of the property. This search lasted several hours.
The store is located on US-22 and 674 on the border of Pickaway County and Fairfield county
