Lancaster, OH – The Salvation Army of Fairfield County received a substantial boost to its Hope Marches On capital campaign with a generous donation of $25,000 from Park National Bank.

The campaign aims to uplift Fairfield County’s most vulnerable groups, including seniors, youth, and low-income families, by modernizing infrastructure and expanding service capacity at a renovated facility on Memorial Drive in Lancaster, the former site of the Golden Corral restaurant.

Salvation Army Major Bryan DeMichael expressed gratitude for the community’s support, emphasizing the importance of committed partners aligning with the organization’s mission to serve the social, spiritual, and physical well-being of the entire community.

Laura Tussing, Regional President of Park National Bank, highlighted the institution’s dedication to nurturing community well-being by supporting initiatives that address multifaceted needs. The partnership with the Salvation Army aims to amplify impact, providing enhanced efficiency and expanded services to serve more individuals in need.

Nicole Davis, Wealth Advisor at Park National Bank and Salvation Army board member, echoed the sentiment, noting the excitement of witnessing the community’s collective effort in meeting critical needs. She emphasized the ripple effects of such partnerships and the transformative impact they have on communities.

Park National Bank’s contribution will go towards establishing a community laundry facility, a vital resource that will alleviate the burden of laundry expenses for individuals and families in need.
