Dayton Shooting: Trump Visits Dayton Talks About Betts History and Motives

DAYTON – Yesterday President Trump announced he was going to visit both Dayton and El Paso both suffered a mass shooting less than 14 hours apart from each other. Just before he headed to the plane this morning the President tweeted information about the Dayton Shooter,

The president visited with the Victims & families, Law Enforcement, Medical Staff & First Responders. Trump said, “It was a warm & wonderful visit. Tremendous enthusiasm & even Love.”

This morning FBI officials announced they would be taking over the Dayton case and looking into what caused Connor Betts, of Bellbrook to perform the mass shooting. FBI said that Betts demonstrated an interest in “Violent ideologies” prior to the event.

Background checks on Betts says that he voted in muliple Democratic primaries, that he supported Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, and Antifa.

According to NBC news he showed a video of a mass shooting to a woman on a first date.

The Dayton Daily News says Betts attended the May 25 Ku Klux Klan rally in Downtown Dayton as a armed protester.
