Chillicothe – Recently we did a story of someone local trying to pass 100 dollar fake bills in Circleville once at a yard sale and another at the farm market in Circleville. Well thieves are back at it again but this time with smaller bills ones and fives.
Sure most of the time you will check a hundred dollar bill but not a lot of people check ones and fives and this is what the thieves hare hoping for by using these small increment dollars.
The tell tale sign is on the top of the bill you can see where it says, “Motion Picture Use Only.” These bills are used by motion picture companies in real movies and the dollars are ment to look as real as possible. How do they get to Chillicothe Ohio you may ask? Ebay, ebay sells these prop dollars all the time on the site with the expectation that they are not to be used as real money. Check your bills people and report any fake money to police.
