Construction Projects to Impact Highways in Ross County

Chillicothe – Commencing next week, motorists in Ross County should be prepared for construction projects that are expected to affect various highways. U.S. 23 Intersection Improvement

Starting April 8, construction will commence to install a turbo lane at the intersection of U.S. 23 and Trego Creek Road. Daily work is scheduled throughout the project duration. The anticipated completion is slated for Fall 2024.

U.S. 35 Resurfacing

Beginning April 15, a resurfacing initiative will kick off on U.S. 35, spanning from State Route 138 to the Fayette County line. Work will be conducted daily until project completion, expected in Summer 2024.

Super Load Transportation

On Wednesday, March 27, the third of nearly twenty “super loads” will depart from a dock near Manchester in Adams County. Motorists are encouraged to sign up for email updates regarding this transportation endeavor at transportation.ohio.gov/superload.
