CIRCLEVILLE – Update, Circleville City Mayor said that the meetings tonight had to be canceled immediately because they violated the sunset rule. The Mayor with understanding from the City Attorney said that because the meeting didnt get published early enough the meetings if they went forward would violate the rules in place. Meetings will be rescheduled for a later time when people are put on notice properly.

City of Circleville Committees both Safety and Finance will have a special meeting tonight at 4:30 and one at 6 pm to discuss ALL city finances. TO ALL: please note the times of safety 4:30 pm and finance 6:00 pm. this cmte mtg. that is reviewing entire city and 2020 budget for the city and it is broken down into different dept. spending.
At 4:30 pm the safety committee will meet and discuss a review of budget and capital requests. This discussion will be a review on costs and budget for where safety forces stand, and in my opinion is a must attend for people who are planning to vote on the levy.
At 6 pm the Finance committee will meet in discussions on a review of the entire city budget. Again another highly recommended meeting to attend if you are planning on voting next week. Here is a list of ordinances that will be discussed.
