Circleville Will See Flooding Next Few Days

CIRCLEVILLE – With inches of rain that have fallen across the Buckeye State now comes flooding.  Water from Columbus and northern areas flows southward and we will start to see flooding in Circleville area.




 

Statement from National Weather Service, with the ground already saturated, additional rounds of showers and embedded thunderstorms today through Tuesday afternoon could result in new instances of flash flooding.

According to the National Weather service Hydrologic perdection service. Flooding occurs along the Scioto at 13 feet.  We are currently at 12.5 feet and will push over 13 feet before the end of the day.  By Thursday we will have minor flooding at 14.3 feet.
