Circleville Police Respond to 36 Calls on May 6, Including Protection Order Violations, Fire Alarms, and Injury Accident

CIRCLEVILLE, OH — May 7, 2025 — Circleville law enforcement and emergency services responded to 36 separate incidents across the city on Monday, May 6, according to a police call-for-service report printed May 7.

Among the notable calls:

  • Warrant arrest: A warrant was served on Fisher Road at approximately 1:18 a.m.
  • Injury crash: A vehicle accident with injuries was reported at Walnut Creek Pike at 6:09 p.m. where a citation was issued.
  • Protection order violations: Two violations were reported on East Franklin Street at 4:12 p.m. and Huston Street at 6:17 p.m., with reports taken in both cases.
  • Fire-related calls: Multiple fire calls were logged, including a structural fire on South Court Street at 6:23 p.m., and a vehicle fire on Island Road earlier that morning at 10:22 a.m. Both were cleared without reported injuries.
  • Well-being checks: Calls for welfare checks led to a hospital transport from Renick Avenue at 5:46 a.m., while another check on Wood Lane was marked as “gone on arrival.”
  • Suspicious activity and harassment: Police responded to several complaints involving suspicious persons, threats, and juvenile disturbances. A juvenile was reported unruly on Lancaster Pike at 10:17 p.m.

Other routine calls included 911 hang-ups, disabled vehicles, civil paper service, and noise or ATV complaints.
