LANCASTER, Ohio — A 29-year-old Circleville man was killed Tuesday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of State Route 188 and Royalton Road in Fairfield County, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred when a 2014 Mitsubishi Mirage, driven by Jacob Bush, 29, of Circleville, was traveling southeast on Royalton Road and attempted to turn left onto State Route 188.

Investigators said the Mitsubishi failed to yield the right-of-way and was struck by a 2019 Ford Ranger driven by Stephanie Biggum, 40, who was traveling southwest on State Route 188. The force of the collision sent both vehicles off the roadway.

Bush sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Biggum suffered minor injuries and was transported to Mount Carmel East Hospital for treatment.

A passenger in the Mitsubishi, Christopher Jordan, 26, also sustained minor injuries and was taken to Mount Carmel East Hospital.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol continues to investigate the crash.
