Chillicothe Police Respond to Warrants, Crashes, Disorderly Incidents Throughout November 18

CHILLICOTHE — The Chillicothe Police Department reported a steady series of calls on Tuesday, November 18, ranging from warrant services and disorderly complaints to juvenile issues, vehicle crashes, and a theft investigation.

Warrant-Related Calls Begin Overnight
Just after midnight, officers responded to 30 Carlisle Place for a report of a disorderly intoxicated individual. The incident resulted in a disorderly conduct investigation.
Later in the early morning hours, officers served multiple warrants, including one at the Ross County Jail. Additional warrant investigations were initiated at the Law Enforcement Complex around 6:16 a.m., with all cases remaining under review.

Parking Complaint and Fraud Report Filed
Around 7:30 a.m., officers were dispatched to West 4th Street regarding a vehicle parked in an alley. The case remains open.
Shortly after 1 p.m., police were contacted by a representative from Kingston National Bank regarding fraudulent charges. An investigation into the financial incident is ongoing.

Domestic Dispute, Juvenile Issues, and Crashes
At 1:32 p.m., officers responded to Toledo Street for a domestic dispute involving an unruly juvenile.
Two crashes were reported during the afternoon — one around 2:30 p.m. at River Trace Lane and another at 3:14 p.m., categorized as a backing accident. No major injuries were reported.

Suspicious Substance Reported on Mulberry Street
A non-criminal call at 39 S. Mulberry Street involved a resident reporting a rolled paper towel containing an unknown substance believed to belong to a client. Officers advised the reporting party that police could not open or test the substance due to safety protocols and evidence-handling requirements.

Theft Under Investigation at Wendy’s
At 3:57 p.m., officers were dispatched to 518 W. 2nd Street after a theft reportedly occurred at the Wendy’s restaurant on East Main Street on November 16. That case remains under investigation.

Juvenile Complaint at Middle School
Around 4:59 p.m., police responded to a juvenile complaint at Chillicothe Middle School on Yoctangee Parkway.

Traffic Citations and Evening Crash
At 5:11 p.m., a collision at St. Andrews Blvd resulted in minor damage after one driver backed into another vehicle. The at-fault driver was cited for improper backing and was unable to provide valid proof of insurance.
Later, at 6:57 p.m., officers responded to a vehicle-versus-pedestrian-related incident at West Water Street and North High Street. That investigation is also ongoing.

In total, the Chillicothe Police Department logged 15 reports on November 18, with several cases pending further review.
