Chillicothe Police Respond to Various Incidents in March 11 Report

CHILLICOTHE, OH – The Chillicothe Police Department responded to a variety of incidents on March 11, 2025, ranging from theft and trespassing to traffic violations and domestic disturbances.

Early Morning Activity:
At 1:05 AM, officers were dispatched to Speedway on E. Main Street regarding found property. Shortly after, at 1:52 AM, police responded to S. Brownell Street for a report of a missing juvenile. By 2:31 AM, officers were called back to E. Main Street for a domestic dispute.

Warrant & Trespassing Calls:
Around 5:55 AM, police responded to N. Paint Street for a warrant investigation. Later in the morning, at 10:41 AM, officers were called to Scioto Avenue for a disturbance involving a possible criminal trespass. A separate theft complaint was reported on University Drive at 10:45 AM.

Theft & Overdose Investigations:
Police received a report of bicycle theft at 3:14 PM on McKeller Street. Earlier in the afternoon, at 1:59 PM, officers responded to an overdose incident on Vine Street.

Traffic Stops & Violations:
At 5:31 PM, a traffic stop was conducted on S. Hickory Street after an officer observed a vehicle with expired registration. The driver, identified as Christopher Thomas, was found to have a suspended license. Two minutes later, at 5:33 PM, officers were dispatched to McDonald’s on Western Avenue for a traffic accident.

Evening Incidents:
At 6:10 PM, officers responded to Sherman Park regarding an unattended child. A probation violation was reported at the Chillicothe Ross Public Library earlier in the afternoon at 4:42 PM. Later that night, at 9:26 PM, a protection order violation was reported on E. Second Street, followed by a criminal trespass call on W. 7th Street at 9:31 PM.

The Chillicothe Police Department continues investigations into several of these incidents.
