Chillicothe — Tickets for this year’s Ghost Walk Event are now on sale via the Chillicothe Halloween Festival’s website: chillicothehalloweenfestival.com/ghost-walk and are $10 per person.
Based on the feedback of last year’s patrons, the Ghost Walk will be featuring three “fan favorites” this year (The Ross County Archives, the Odd Fellows’ Lodge, and the Majestic Theatre) along with a new location, the Old Capitol Brewing. All four buildings are located in the Downtown Chillicothe area.
During these tours, patrons will be guided through the interiors of the buildings while storytellers share the history and unexplained mysteries that have happened within each location.
The Ghost Walk will be on Saturday, September 17th from 10am to 6pm. PLEASE COME EARLY TO ENSURE A TOUR OF ALL LOCATIONS.
Locations can be visited in any order during the event. Locations may have a wait time prior to your tour. You are able to visit the locations on this tour in the order you wish, as these are not guided tours that will begin at one location and proceed through the rest. Please allow yourself enough time to visit each location: approximately four hours.
We recommend that you arrive at the event no later than 1:00 pm to ensure that you will have enough time to tour all locations before the end of the event. And, allow time for lunch at the Downtown restaurants along with visiting the businesses throughout the day.
Please note that ALL locations have stairs throughout the tours. Arrangements will be made to the best of the Ghost Walk Committee’s ability to accommodate those unable to use stairs.
The Ghost Walk Event is a fundraiser for the Chillicothe Halloween Festival, a 3-day festival that takes place in Yoctangee Park this year on October 7, 8, and 9.
