FAIRFIELD – Injuries from an assault have turned into a barricade situation in Fairfield county today.
This is an active situation that started around 11:27 according to the Sheriff’s department.
The original 911 call was from injuries from an assault at 6077 Lancaster Kirksville road, but now the entire roadway in front of the home is shut down and SWAT is on the scene along with dozens of law enforcement.
Lancaster-Kirkersville road was shut down in the Pleasantville intersection area and north of the incident location on Lancaster-Kirersville road.
Chad Whittington, 46 was arrested and charged with one count of Kidnapping by the Fairfield sheriff’s department it is unknown if there are any more charges.
