PICKAWAY COUNTY, OH — Emergency crews are responding to a structure fire in the 7200 block of Brooks Miller Road in Muhlenberg Township.
According to early reports, fire departments from Harrison Township and Scioto Township are currently on scene, with multiple tanker units assisting in firefighting efforts due to water supply needs in the rural area.
When firefighters arrived, they reported visible smoke and flames coming from the structure. Crews entered the home and discovered additional fire on both the first floor and in the basement, indicating the blaze had already spread throughout multiple levels of the building.
Due to the severity of the fire, officials have requested a Box 65 response, bringing additional resources to the scene to assist with containment and suppression efforts.
Authorities are asking the public to avoid the area to allow emergency vehicles clear access while operations continue.
