A serious crash occurred in Pickaway County, involving two cars, resulting in one fatality and another person seriously injured and trapped.
The incident took place around 7:30 pm on Wednesday, near 6045 Kingston Adelphi Road. Upon arrival, first responders found one vehicle flipped on its top, with a truck resting on it. Two individuals were trapped inside the overturned vehicle.
Recognizing the severity of the situation, responders promptly called for a helicopter and requested mutual aid from Ross County. Despite the challenging extrication process, responders worked quickly to free the trapped individuals. Unfortunately, one person succumbed to their injuries at the scene, while the other was airlifted to Grant Medical Center in serious condition.
Authorities closed the roadway for investigation following the crash. However, the names of the individuals involved have not been released by law enforcement at this time.
