Ross County OH- According to dispatch, deputies are currently searching for two missing female kayakers on the Scioto River in the area of Hopewell Culture on SR104. Deputies have been advised that the two Kayakers dropped in to the Scioto River in Pickaway County and began floating south.
At least one kayaker had an operating cell phone that was able to be pinged for a location at around 8:30P.M. Deputies have not been able to regain a ping location and have requested Ohio State Highway Patrol helicopter search assistance.
