BREAKING NEWS- Person Shot Multiple Times in Logan Ohio, Hocking County

Logan OH, Hocking County- On November 12th, 2019 at approximately 6:09 P.M., Hocking County 911 received a call from a female subject advising that her boyfriend had been shot multiple times by a male subject in a white four door vehicle, possibly a Pontiac. The shooting occurred at the entrance to the Hocking Hills Diner, near the intersection of Hocking Drive and Maysville-Williams Road. The suspect vehicle then fled the scene towards US 33.

The male victim was able to drive his vehicle while the female caller was still in contact with Hocking County 911, which directed them to the Logan Police Department. Upon arrival to the Police Department, additional responding units from the Logan Police Department, Hocking County Sheriff’s Office, Logan Fire Department and the Hocking County EMS arrived on scene. The Logan Fire Department and Hocking County EMS treated and transported the male subject to Hocking Valley Community Hospital for additional treatment.

Personnel from the Logan Police Department and the Hocking County Sheriff’s Office, began to interview the witness, and responded to the scene of the shooting to interview additional witnesses and to secure and process the crime scene.
