Circleville – A fire has evacuated everyone from a local Walmart located in the South End of the city
According to early reports, Pickaway Township fire was dispatched to Walmart on South County street in Circleville after a report of a fire in the freezer section of the store. The Township immediately asked for mutual aid from the City. When Pickaway Township arrived the fire was quickly contained and extinguished, but the smoke of the unit and fire spread through some areas of the store. The department asked for Walmart to evacuate the store until the smoke cleared.
No one was hurt in the fire, it is currently unknow how long the store will be closed.
