WASHINGTON COURT HOUSE, Ohio — Fayette County Common Pleas Court Judge David Bender has sentenced an Ohio man to life in prison without the possibility of parole following convictions on multiple child sex offenses.

On July 13, 2026, Judge Bender imposed the maximum sentence available on Isaac Sims, sentencing him to life in prison without the possibility of parole. Sims was previously found guilty and convicted on two counts of rape involving a victim under the age of 10, as well as 19 counts of pandering obscenity involving a minor, each a second-degree felony.

Several other criminal cases also reached their final disposition in Fayette County Common Pleas Court:

  • Kevin Camacho was convicted of domestic violence, as charged in the indictment, a fourth-degree felony. He was sentenced to six months in prison.
  • Millard King was convicted of one count of failure to register as a sex offender, as indicted. He received an indefinite prison sentence of four to six years, with four years designated as mandatory.
  • Greg Shaffer was convicted of 21 counts of pandering obscenity involving a minor, second-degree felonies, and 49 additional counts of pandering obscenity involving a minor, fourth-degree felonies. Judge Bender sentenced Shaffer to 20 to 22 years in prison, followed by five years of mandatory post-release control. Upon his release, Shaffer will be required to register as a Tier II sex offender, which requires in-person registration with the sheriff in the county of residence every 180 days.
  • Anna Conger was sentenced to two years of probation, ordered to serve 120 days in jail, and required to pay restitution to the City of Washington Court House after damaging the windshield of a police cruiser with a sledgehammer.

The cases represent a range of felony offenses prosecuted through the Fayette County Common Pleas Court, with the life sentence handed down to Sims marking the most severe penalty imposed.
