
CHILLICOTHE, OH — The Chillicothe Police Department managed a wide array of calls for service on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, handling everything from early-morning domestic disputes and warrant executions to park disturbances and commercial business disruptions.
Late-Night Warrant Attempt and Domestic Dispute
The day began with back-to-back late-night calls requiring direct officer intervention.
- Adams Avenue Domestic Violence: Just past midnight at 12:16 AM, officers rushed to a residence at 782 Adams Avenue following a report of a domestic dispute.
- West 5th Street Warrant Service: At 2:06 AM, a patrol officer attempted to make contact with Susan K. White at her home located at 91 W. 5th Street after discovering she had an active warrant out for her arrest.
Morning Business Disruptions and Harassment
As local shops opened up, officers were dispatched to several commercial corridors to handle unruly patrons and complaints.

- Theft on Marietta Road: At 7:54 AM, a theft complaint drew police to 60 Marietta Road, where an active property crime investigation is now underway.
- Sparkle Cleaners Disorderly: At 8:15 AM, police responded to a disorderly conduct complaint at Sparkle Cleaners, located at 641 Central Center.
- Telecommunications Harassment: Shortly before 9:00 AM, an officer was sent to an unnamed local business on West Main Street to document a harassment complaint involving anonymous, harassing digital communications.
Afternoon Stalking and Disorderly Conduct Reports
Disturbances continued across the city well into Wednesday afternoon.
- Murphy’s Oil Incident: At 10:10 AM, an officer responded to a disorderly conduct call at Murphy’s Oil, located at 75 River Trace Lane.
- Menacing by Stalking on East Main Street: Around 1:29 PM, police units were dispatched to 531 E. Main Street for what was initially reported as a disorderly conduct complaint. Upon further assessment, the incident was officially logged as a menacing by stalking investigation.
Park Patrols and Community Welfare
The shift concluded with a series of community-based checks and park incidents.
- North High Street Threats: At 8:34 AM, an officer responded to the 500 block of N. High Street regarding a threats complaint. A formal report was taken, and officers were able to successfully resolve the issue at the scene without filing criminal charges.
- Storage Unit Welfare Check: At 1:46 PM, police responded to the storage units on Renick Ave (logged near Stanley Street) to perform a welfare check on an individual. The investigation into that matter remains open.
- Poland Park Trespassing: Late in the evening, at 6:45 PM, officers converged on Poland Park off South Hickory Street following a report of disorderly behavior. The situation resulted in an active criminal trespassing investigation.
All subjects mentioned in police logs are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Active investigations remain ongoing.
