
COLUMBUS, Ohio (April 7, 2026) — Early voting will be officially underway across Ohio tommorow, giving voters the opportunity to cast their ballots weeks ahead of the May primary election.
According to the Ohio Secretary of State, in-person early voting and absentee voting by mail both begin today, April 7, following Monday’s voter registration deadline.
The early voting period will run through May 3, with Election Day set for May 5, 2026.
The Pickaway County Board of Elections will be open regular hours, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on April 6, from 8 a.m. until 9 p.m. for voter registration and change of name and/or address.

Ohio law allows voters to cast ballots up to 29 days before an election, typically beginning the day after registration closes.
