CINCINNATI, OH — President Donald Trump is set to make two high-profile stops in the Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky areas this Wednesday, March 11, focusing on his administration’s latest push to lower prescription drug costs for Americans.

The visit comes on the heels of the launch of TrumpRx.gov, a federal initiative aimed at providing patients with direct access to discounted medications by bypassing traditional middle-man markups.

Wednesday’s Schedule and Locations

The President will spend his day on both sides of the Ohio River, visiting a major pharmaceutical manufacturer and a logistics hub:

  • Reading, Ohio: Trump will tour Thermo Fisher Scientific at 2110 E. Galbraith Road. The facility is a key player in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sector. While an exact time has not been released, the visit is expected to highlight the domestic manufacturing of medications available through the new federal portal.
  • Hebron, Kentucky: Later that afternoon, the President will head to the Verst Logistics Contract Packaging Facility at 2200 Gateway Blvd, located near the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG).

According to White House invitations, doors for the Hebron event will open to supporters and guests at 1:00 PM.

Focus on “TrumpRx”

A central theme of the visit is the promotion of TrumpRx.gov. The initiative claims to allow Americans to purchase brand-name prescription drugs at “most-favored-nation” prices—essentially matching the lower costs typically paid by developed countries in Europe and elsewhere.

“The President will lay out the work he’s doing to make America affordable again,” the Republican Party of Kentucky said in a social media update over the weekend. “It’s a plan to keep our country moving forward by tackling the root causes of high healthcare costs.”

Traffic and Logistics

Motorists in the Reading area and those traveling near CVG should expect significant delays and temporary road closures on Wednesday. Local law enforcement has advised residents to monitor traffic updates, particularly along the I-75 and I-275 corridors, as the presidential motorcade moves between the two facilities.
