
CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio — Circleville police officers handled more than 100 calls for service between January 9 and January 11, 2026, responding to a wide range of incidents that included a burglary in progress, an injury crash, domestic disturbances, and a warrant arrest, according to the department’s latest media call-for-service report.
During the early morning hours of January 9, officers responded to a reported burglary in progress on Wood Lane, where a report was taken and the incident remains under investigation. Later that morning, police were called to South Court Street for an injury crash, with officers documenting the incident.
Throughout the reporting period, officers conducted numerous traffic stops, issuing a mix of warnings and citations across the city, including on South Pickaway Street, East Franklin Street, Main Street, and Atwater Avenue. Several parking complaints also resulted in citations.
Police also responded to multiple domestic trouble and neighbor dispute calls, including incidents on Lincoln Avenue, Renick Avenue, North Pickaway Street, Mowrer Road, and East Franklin Street. Reports were taken in several of those cases.
On January 10, officers made a warrant arrest on South Court Street during overnight hours. Additional calls that day included a non-injury crash on Lancaster Pike, a trespassing report on East Franklin Street, and several well-being checks throughout the city.
The department also logged numerous civil process attempts, with officers successfully serving paperwork at multiple locations, while other attempts resulted in individuals being gone on arrival or unable to be located.
Police handled a variety of other calls over the three-day span, including alarms, open-door checks, business checks, juvenile complaints, carbon monoxide concerns referred to other agencies, animal-related calls, and several 911 hang-ups that were checked and cleared.
In total, Circleville police recorded 105 calls for service during the reporting period, reflecting routine patrol activity as well as responses to more serious incidents.
