The day began just before 1 a.m. with a traffic stop on Georgia Road that resulted in a report being taken. Minutes later, officers responded to a 911 hang-up on Cedar Heights Road, but the caller was gone upon arrival. A second early-morning traffic stop led to an arrest.

A non-injury crash later in the day was handled by another agency, and a carbon monoxide call on McCrea Avenue resulted in a non-transport response from EMS. Another non-injury crash on North Pickaway Street led to a citation.
Officers issued a warning during a traffic stop on Logan Street just after 1:30 p.m., and later arrested a suspect after a theft incident on Hayward Avenue.
